Single Visit Onlays & Crowns – CEREC
CEREC dentists use modern technology that restores damaged teeth in a single appointment, making your teeth beautiful and stronger than ever before! The technology quickly restores damaged teeth by using a high-quality ceramic material that matches the natural colour of other teeth and instantly gives you back your natural smile.
When combined with the exceptional skills of your Orleans Town Centre CEREC dentists, the technology becomes a great alternative to traditional dental procedures. CEREC, which stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics, empowers our team to take a more conservative approach to restoring your teeth. By preserving more of the healthy part of your tooth when preparing it for the new restoration, you get to have a more natural smile. Traditionally, tooth-restoration procedures were incredibly time-consuming. If you required crowns, onlays, inlays, or dental veneers to restore damaged teeth, then multiple procedures and a great deal of waiting time in-between would be inevitable. Thanks to our talented CEREC dentists, this is no longer the case!
CEREC dentists can provide you the most ideal solution if you have chipped, broken or stained teeth, or are in need of:
- Dental Crowns
- Tooth Restoration
- Large Filling Replacement
How does CEREC work?
CEREC dentists use CAD/CAM technology with which they are able to design and mill restorations such as veneers, partial and full crowns and all other single-tooth restorations, right here in our office. We start the process with a scan of your affected tooth. We then design the restoration on the computer, and then mill it in our in-house milling unit. The process enables us to create a unique ceramic restoration that fits perfectly. The process is designed to minimize the amount of time you spend in the dental chair, giving you complete results after a single visit.
CEREC restorations are made from a single block of high-quality, biocompatible, anti-abrasive and plaque-resistant ceramic material. The technology allows us to offer a long-lasting, cosmetic alternative to silver or plastic fillings.
